Emperor Obama? The American People Petition for a Death Star

You have to love democracy, as long as politicians rely on a popular vote, they’ll be beholden to the people. Case in point, The White House, started the “We The People” page on their website to create a platform for voters to express the “issues that matter to them,” and promised to respond to any petition that reaches 25,000 signatures. Well, America has spoken, and 29,000 and counting Americans want a Death Star.

“By focusing our defense resources into a space-superiority platform and weapon system such as a Death Star, the government can spur job creation in the fields of construction, engineering, space exploration, and more, and strengthen our national defense,” the petition says.

If you thought they were an Evil Empire before, just wait until our American Cousins have a giant orb of death floating above the earth. Damn you democracy.

Honestly, we’ve never heard politics broken down so clearly, one of the candidates should pick the boys up as part of their press team. Press play above.
