Outkast’s own Andre 3000 has been tapped to portray pioneering musician and legendary Man’s Man Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic, and photos from the set have recently been released.

We’re not the type to buy into paparazzi-related news, but since they’re dealing with the life story of a man as manly as Jimi Hendrix we were curious and cautious.

Mr. 3 Stacks certainly looks the part, let’s just hope his performance is more Ray and less Semi Pro.
